I was thinking a long time about getting a tattoo, but I always wanted to be sure that I will not regret a motive one day. Finally I managed to make this motive putting some ideas I liked. I draw it firstly on my hand just to make sure it will be ok by pen and 3 weeks ago I went to tattoo studio to get this picture on my forearm forever.
I have put birds there, because they symbolize freedom for me and feelings I always have when I am traveling/hitch hiking just on my own. Also their number has specific meaning for me, the two sitting on a rose symbolize my parents and other four ones my siblings, so I can have them close every time everywhere.
Quote “Just open the book” is half of a quote I came across once when I was trying to explain my friends one night in a pub what I have learned from traveling (without previous arrangement). The whole quote is “Just open the book and Life (or put there “Night” in case hard unforgettable partying) will write a story”. I know it isnt anything original, as the meaning of this sentence have been said in other words many times before. But whats important is that it is really truth and it always remind me who I was, what were my dreams and life philosophy in case I would become bigger idiot than I am now.
And rose? Well there is no meaningful explanation :) Its that I always liked roses since I was a child and its probably the only flower I can draw considerably nicely :D
